Sending to unverified email addresses destroys your sender reputation and tanks deliverability for future campaigns. Run through this checklist before launching any outbound sequence.

Pre-Campaign Verification

  • Run all email addresses through a verification service
  • Remove all hard bounces and invalid addresses
  • Flag catch-all domains for manual review
  • Remove role-based addresses (info@, sales@, support@)
  • Check for disposable or temporary email domains
  • Verify domain MX records are active
  • Remove duplicate email addresses from the list

Domain Health Check

  • Confirm your sending domain has SPF records configured
  • Verify DKIM signing is active and passing
  • Check DMARC policy is set to at least p=none
  • Review your domain’s blacklist status across major databases
  • Confirm your IP address is not on any spam blacklists
