Email Verification on Import
One bad list import can damage your sender reputation for months. This automation acts as a quality gate, verifying every email address before it enters your system — preventing bounces before they happen.
How It Works
When a team member uploads a contact list — whether through CSV import, API integration, or third-party tool sync — Scrapine intercepts the import and runs every email address through multi-step verification. Each address is checked for syntax validity, domain existence, MX record configuration, mailbox existence, and risk factors like catch-all configuration or disposable domain.
Contacts are then sorted into three buckets: verified (proceed to CRM), risky (sent to review queue), and invalid (blocked from import). Your team receives a summary report showing import quality metrics and any addresses that need attention.
Why This Matters
Email bounces above 2% trigger reputation penalties from major email providers. A single import of a purchased list with 10% invalid addresses can push your domain onto spam blacklists, reducing deliverability for every future email — including transactional messages and legitimate sales outreach.
Prevention is dramatically cheaper than repair. Recovering from a blacklisted domain takes weeks of remediation and often requires switching to a new sending domain entirely. Verifying on import costs pennies per address and takes seconds.
Configuration Options
Set your own quality thresholds for what passes through, what gets flagged for review, and what gets blocked. Configure notifications for imports that fall below quality standards. Enable auto-enrichment for verified contacts that pass the quality gate.
